The bummulo malandrino has very ancient origins, dating back to the 12th century. It was used to contain and serve water or wine, keeping them fresh, even if they were exposed to the sun. The flask contains a communicating vessel which arrives in a reservoir and keeps liquids inside. Liquids are introduced from the bottom of the object, so the entrance is not visible.
